At the office with 3 officials from the Japanese Ministry of Economy, Trade and Industry (METI). They are also members of an office within METI that the Japanese government has set up to promote Japanese anime, manga, fashion, design, food and culture across the world - but not only to promote but to turn Japanese contents into business.
The office is called "Cool Japan" [クール・ジャパン室] and was established June this year.
The catchphrase "Cool Japan" will be used at events and other activities for this huge project but what do you think about the term? Does it sound cool or not-so-cool? How would you describe Japanese anime, manga, games, fashion etc in a couple of words?
There is a poll embedded in this article.

This months copy of Brain - a magazine aimed at folks in the advertising industry. There is a feature on "Cool Japan" where one of the Cool Japan officials also talk about the governments strategy.

For some reason I'm part of that article ^^;
What do you find cool about Japan?

- Language
- Society in general
- Rich culture

- Honesty of Japanese folk
- Architecture
