So far through job postings on this site, we've found full/part time positions for readers and placed them together with some of my clients like AmiAmi, Rinkya, JList and Good Smile Company. Some of the job positions lead to folks from France, America and China being relocated to Japan with full time working visas too.
Today I've got a part time position which may turn into a full time job at Dwango (for Nico Nico Douga) in Tokyo. To be eligible for the position you need to be able to read the following in Japanese:-
-母国語が英語
-高いレベルの日本語会話能力
-インターネットに詳しいこと、興味があること
-HTMLが利用できることが望ましい
-アニメ、ゲーム、ニコニコ動画、日本文化に詳しい

1. Reside in Tokyo and already have a visa to enable you to work.
2. Are available for immediate hire.
3. Can work at least 10 hours a day.
4. Can work for at least 3 months at the Dwango head offices.
5. Are willing to work for 1,000 yen per hour.

The mission of my company Mirai Inc is to bridge the gap between Japan and the rest of the world. In particular of late, I've been connecting readers with my clients for job opportunities but don't always get to list them on the site through lack of time - I just skim through my mail and pick somebody who matches a certain description ^^;
Most of the positions however require a good command of Japanese language. If you do speak Japanese, would like to work in Japan in the anime, game, figure, anime merchandise or TV field then list your skill set in the comments below so that I can skim this post when I'm looking for folks next time.
Useful skills are 3D graphics (Max, Maya, Lightwave), Photoshop, Illustrator, Fireworks, PHP, C++, MYSQL, Flash, Internet Law, Internet Marketing, Final Cut Pro, Pro Tools.
I don't look at previous education, qualifications or experience when placing folks - only those who are willing to demonstrate that they can do something. All the skills above can be picked up from Google sensei which is pretty much where I picked up the programming and graphic skills ^^;
Ah, which just reminded me - am also looking for iPhone, iPad, Android developers too to work remotely via Skype - if that's you then send me mail too with links to your previous apps - these positions don't require any Japanese skills but the person needs to be able to work with a Japanese character set.
